About AWS China Region（Amazon Cloud Technology）

AWS’s China regions, known as “Amazon Cloud Technology,” operate under a model tailored to the Chinese market, distinct from AWS’s global regions, in order to comply with local laws, regulations, and market-specific requirements.

These regions are operated by local Chinese partners: the Beijing region is operated by Sinnet, and the Ningxia region is operated by NWCD.

This enables the use of China-based cloud regions provided by operators licensed to adhere to local regulations regarding data storage and data transfer within China.
