It boasts a long history, originally founded during the Yuan Dynasty (1278) as “Pangu Temple,” before being rebuilt and taking on its current name in 2015.
The quiet, free-to-enter temple grounds offer the perfect escape to relax your mind and body. It is also a highly recommended spiritual destination for those looking to pray for a thriving business and good fortune.

〇 Getting There
Just about a 10-minute walk from Yabao Station on Shenzhen Metro Line 10.
We’ve arrived at Prajna Zen Temple, so let’s head inside!
* Photography is strictly prohibited inside the main halls and of the Buddha statues. If you’d like to see them, we highly recommend visiting in person.
You can easily get free incense by simply scanning a QR code at the offering area. We lit our incense and prayed with sincere hearts.
This is the temple’s central courtyard. It is incredibly peaceful here.
