【Hong Kong SAR】Visited the AWS Summit Hong Kong 2026

On June 17, 2026, we attended AWS Summit Hong Kong 2026, held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

This year’s summit showcased the latest cloud technology solutions, giving attendees the chance to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies and dive deep into real-world use cases.

On the Ground at the Summit

We arrived at the AWS Summit venue to find it packed with attendees and buzzing with excitement.

The “Amazon Quick” Generative AI Agent Booth

In recent years, AWS seems to have been putting a strong focus on this generative AI agent, “Amazon Quick,” so we got hands-on with its features and experienced how it actually performs at the event.

Competing in the AWS AI League “Agentic AI Challenge”

The AWS AI League “Agentic AI Challenge” is a competition that puts development skills to the test, where participants are tasked with building AI agents capable of autonomous decision-making and action.

In a fun, gamified environment, competitors aim to solve real-world business challenges by creating their own AI agents.

Other Booths

Next, we continued exploring the show floor, checking out a wide variety of other exciting booths.

This display sign was built entirely out of building blocks.

Hong Kong’s well-known pay-TV platform “Now TV” was live streaming matches from the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Notably, the infrastructure powering its streaming platform seems to be built on AWS.

Networking at the AWS Partner Summit Hong Kong

As an AWS Certified Partner, Our company had the privilege of attending the AWS Partner Summit, an exclusive partner networking event.

There was also plenty of fun event swag on display around the venue, including mini keyboards.

After filling out the feedback survey at the AWS Summit, we picked up an AWS-branded crossbody bag.

Summary

At this year’s AWS Summit, perhaps fueled by the major promotional push behind the generative AI agent “Amazon Quick,” the booth was noticeably buzzing with activity, drawing large crowds of attendees eager to try it out for themselves.
